It's really up to you. Each situation is different and I don't know all the facts surrounding your biz. This is really all dependent on what you can afford and how much you're willing to inventory.

I don't know how many designs you have -- and so my recommendations would be different based solely on the numbers.

I'd personally rather have more transfers on hand than tees. Because most tees can be shipped to you within 1-2 days after your order is placed, so there's really no need to keep a HUGE inventory of tees.

Re: You MUST CONFIRM your e-mail address before I can send you anything!

Our course will guide you through the process. Unfortunately, we don't have the time to assist you with that. Starting a biz takes lots of time, effort and energy and I enjoy my time too much to take on a large project like that :-)

You're going to have to put in some 'sweat equity'... No easy way around it :-)

Re: VIDEO: How to Get Your T-shirt Designs onto Heat Transfer Paper

here you go:
http://www.tshirtriches.com...

Re: Personal Responsibility: Do you have what it takes to start and build your own business?

Sorry for the delay in getting back with you sooner... There are screen printers who'll gladly print your designs onto t-shirts. And that is an option -- If you only have one or two designs, that is a way to go because you can get a fairly decent price when ordering in quantity (assuming you don't have a lot of colors).

You can also do it yourself with the heat press --my preferred method.

Local graphic designers will be much more costly. If you don't mind the added expense, just do a search for a graphic designer in your local area.

Re: Marketing Your T-shirts – How to Sell Your Tshirt Designs

Congrats on getting your trademark. Did you do this yourself or did u go through an attorney?

Are you looking to license your designs or print tees and wholesale them to the colleges/sports entities?

Re: Where to Get Custom T-shirt Transfers Made

No... You can't use a printer to print onto these blank release papers from your home printer. You'll need to screen print directly onto these sheets -- not run from your home printer.

Re: Screen Printed Transfers: Mod 2

You'll need a larger machine, but there are companies that'll print you larger transfers...

Re: Training Module: Selling Others Your Transfer Designs

Picking a niche is much easier to market/advertise. For example, let's say your site had tees for dogs, cats, basketball, religious, motorcycle, halloween, hotrods, army, navy, and baseball tees...

Where are you going to market and advertise it? If you put an ad on front of Yahoo's homepage, what would your ad say? It's going to cost you a fortune to run your ad and the vast majority of people who see the ad won't even be a prospect because you're selling all types of stuff they're not interested in... So you've wasted a ton of money and get very little sales.

But if you ran a comp;any that specialized in t-shirts for lovers of a 'surfing', you can find places where surfers hang out and advertise there and get a much better response because your marketing is very targeted and specific. When you sell all types of tees, you can't do that...

Big corporations can do that... Companies like Coca-Cola have billions to spend and they can 'brand' themselves because they're not expecting you to go buy a coke today after seeing their commercial.

You can't afford to run 'branding' campaigns and get paid on it 12 months from now. Only a very targeted and very specific ad/marketing campaign can put money in your pocket.

I'd never advertise my t-shirt riches biz on a site dedicated to swim models. Waste of money -- most of the people that visit that site aren't interested in buying my t-shirt course.

Niches allow you to find people who share a similar interest, topic or passion. People like to belong to a group and niches are profitable because you can easily find these groups...

Nothing says you can't have multiple 'niches' of tees. There are millions of people who have pet ferrets... Anyone with tees in this niche can make some money and can continue to sell to this crowd over and over again.

If u think about it -- my own site is a niche within the t-shirt printing industry. Our specialty is showing you how to start a t-shirt biz with a heat press --- we don't do screen printing, but I'm able to catch a huge marketshare of folks looking for an easier and affordable way to get started in the t-shirt biz...

I'll give a better explanation later, but I'm late to a meeting and wanted to give u an answer.

Re: Checklist Basics – Startup Tools and Resources for Launching a T-shirt Business on a Shoestring Budget

Members will be notified through the 'members only' email list... coming shortly...

Re: Turn Your T-shirt Ideas Into a Profitable T Shirt Business

While some things that's required in the US may be slightly different in Australia, the course itself will pretty much apply to anyone regardless to where they live. To print on the back, simply turn the shirt over and print onto the back. The lower part of the heat press doesn't heat up and won't burn the front of the shirt. If you haven't signed up for the free mini course yet, do so, I show examples where I print onto both the front and back.
